Reservations and Deposit
A 50 % deposit is required to secure your booking and which ought to be deposited into the account specified below. Once the deposit has been received, you agree that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions. On reflection of the deposit in our account, a confirmation of the booking will be emailed to you. Deposits are not refundable in the event of cancellation or non-arrival. Please see our Cancellation Policy for further details. Please also note that any bookings without a deposit are considered ‘unconfirmed bookings’ and the accommodation will be re-let if the payment is not received by the agreed payment date.

Payment and settlement of accounts
Balances of accounts should be settled upon arrival and no later than the day of departure. If payment is made via an Electronic Fund Transfer, please supply the proof of payment upon arrival. Other accepted payment methods are credit card and cash. Apologies, we do not accept cheques.
All cancellations must be done in writing while 10 on Rugby reserves the right to withhold bank charges incurred from the deposit refund.

In the unlikely event that we need to amend your reservation, we will confirm this with you in writing in advance of your arrival. Should you be unhappy with the alternative arrangements, you will be fully refunded.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is generally between 14h00 – 17h00. Kindly notify us of late arrival so that we may plan accordingly.
Check-out time is latest 11h00. We appreciate your checking out by this time; and note that if check out is later than 11h00, we will need to charge for an extra night.
Continental and Full English Breakfasts are served daily between 08h00 and 10h00. Should you have any special dietary requirements or wish to have breakfast served at different times, please notify us well in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
If you would like to order in/bring your own lunch and/or dinner please advise in order for us to set your tables accordingly. Regretfully, NO MEALS are allowed in the rooms.
Children over the age of 12 years are welcome; however the parents/legal guardian(s) take full responsibility for the actions of their minors.
Regretfully, 10 on Rugby cannot accommodate pets.
Please be advised that our swimming pool is 1.7m deep and does not have a shallow end, therefore it is for professional swimming use only and is used strictly at your own risk.
10 on Rugby provides limited parking on the property, however your car is parked at your own risk.
Please note that due to the construction of the house 10 on Rugby is not wheelchair-friendly.
Smoking is not allowed by law in any room, patio, courtyard or building except in the designated smoking area or further than 5 metres from a door, window or air-conditioning unit. The guest agrees to pay a penalty of R 500 in case of their failure to comply. In the case of in-room smoking, the guest agrees to pay the cost of a professional deep cleanse required to clean the room. Please also note that the cost of any damage by a cigarette will be for your account as well.
10 on Rugby accepts no responsibility for the propagation of computer worms or viruses transmitted through use of the in-house guest computer or the wireless internet facility. WiFi access is available, but not guaranteed. For security our password is changed regularly.
No persons, other than those quoted at the time of booking, are permitted to share the accommodation. In the event of additional guests arriving, they will be charged the regular rates.
Rates and rate changes
Rates are for Bed and Breakfast only unless otherwise specified. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by any changes to our rates after the deposit has been paid. We reserve the right to alter our rates depending on applicable criteria.
Essential services failure
10 on Rugby does not accept any responsibility for Failure or Interruption of Utilities and Essential Services but shall make every effort to contact the authorities to report such incidences and have them resolved.
The Guest in whose name the booking is made assumes full responsibility and liability for all damages and costs incurred by 10 on Rugby as a consequence of his / hers / their party or guests.
All personal details retained by 10 on Rugby will be maintained according to South African law and not be released to any third parties for any purpose whatsoever.
Changes to these terms and conditions
10 on Rugby reserves the right to revise, amend, alter or delete the information provided - including these Terms and Conditions - at any time.
10 on Rugby, its employees, staff & agents are not liable to you, the client, the client’s guests or invitees for any loss, damage, injury or death suffered by you or your client/s, guest/s invitee/s on or about the premises of 10 on Rugby whatsoever arising, including but not limited to theft, whether resulting from any act or omission whether negligent or not on the part of 10 on Rugby, its employees, staff & agents. You, your client/s, guest/s or invitee/s irrevocably waive any / all potential claims and further indemnify and hold harmless 10 on Rugby, its employees, staff and agents.
